Members only event - memberships are available to the general public for those interested in seeing how the Rock County Historical Society preserves and promotes Rock County’s history. Memberships can be purchased online at www.rchs.us/membership anytime or in person in the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center located at 426 N. Jackson Street.

Secrets Revealed: Behind-the-Scenes at the Rock County Historical Society

What is the view like from the Tallman House cupola? What treasures of Rock County’s past are stored away in the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center? How are Rock County’s records preserved at the Charles Tallman Archives & Research Center?

All of these secrets and more will be revealed at the Rock County Historical Society’s (RCHS) new member-only event, Secrets Revealed: Behind-the-Scenes at the Rock County Historical Society. The event is an opportunity to give RCHS members an exclusive look at the museum’s various operations and a sneak peek at its exciting programs for 2014.

Complimentary food and beverage will be provided as members visit the various sites around campus. Included in the event are:

  • Third-Floor & Cupola access to the Lincoln-Tallman House.
  • First Public Viewing of Archives Operations & Storage at the Charles Tallman Archives & Research Center.
  • Collections Storage and Processing at the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center.
