March 13: New Varieties for 2010

Every year there are new and exciting plants. We'll discuss the new annuals, perennials, trees & shrubs. Come see what cool plants are available to add to your garden.

March 20:  Art in the Garden

Jo Ann Kutter will lead the workshop entitled "INSPIRATION -  Art in the Garden."  Local artists will offer for sale their art work from 11am to 6 pm.  There will also be a "Kids Art Area."  Milwaukee Grill Wine tasting from 4 to 6 pm.  Come in and see this great art expo, including custom dresses, mosaics, silver jewelry and glass jewelry.

March 27: Green Landscape Design & Mykes

Plant selection, planting mix and soil additives, such as Mychrorize will help you succeed. Chris Bogie, one of K&W's landscape designers and Denny Zelek of the MYKE's company will help you save time and money as well as adding value to your home.

April 3: Spring Event

K&W's annual Spring Event, when we turn the greenhouse over to kids! Games, petting zoo (bunnies, baby chicks, lambs, ponies, and minature goats), balloons and much more!  Lunch available from Venture Crew of Milton).  FREE family fun! Celebrate, it's Spring!

April 10: Great Roses for Wisconsin

You can add so much color to your landscape with hardy, no hassle roses. We'll let you know of our testing results for choosing and then growing great roses in our area. Also learn about the many new roses for 2010!

April 17: Bailey Nurseries: Easy Elegance Roses & Hydrangeas

Mike Clarkson, from Bailey Nurseries, will discuss roses from the Easy Elegance family of roses. And who doesn't love hydrangea blooms in summer. He'll discuss some of the newer, colorful & hardy hydrangeas for southern Wisconsin.

April 24: Grow Your Own Groceries

How fun would it be to walk into your own backyard and pick an apple, a tomato or a cup of raspberries! Learn how to be successful and save $ growing your own grub!

May 1: Bayer Advanced: Quick & Easy Garden Solutions

Randy Ryder from Bayer Advanced will discuss the new products for 2010. Easy to use products for treating diseases, mites, and insects on your trees, shrubs, fruits and veggies.

May 15: Monrovia Growers: Colorful Tropical Containers

May 22: Container Gardening with Melinda Myers

Melinda is a nationally known garden expert and has written over 20 gardening books. She will guide you through the steps you would take in creating a colorful annual container. The use of color, texture, height, and potting soil all go into the recipe for a great container!
