Earth Day celebrations soar to new heights at Rotary Botanical Gardens with activities, information and demonstrations centered on the theme of bird conservation. Featured will be live raptor shows presented by Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab & Education. Marvel at the aerodynamics of a Peregrine Falcon, the fastest animal on Earth, and get up close and personal with owls, hawks and other birds of prey common to this area. This dynamic and informative show is appropriate for children and adults of all ages.

Younger children (ages 3-6) will delight in an interactive performance of the book Screech Owl at Midnight Hollow with puppets, felt boards and the story itself followed by an introduction to several live owls. For show times, check www.rotarybotanicalgardens.org
