 We are extremely proud to show off the amazing facility that serves as Janesville's
largest employer. General Motors and UAW Local 95 welcome you to tour the
Janesville General Motors Assembly Plant. This three and a half million square foot
complex is the largest GM plant under one roof in the United States. This tour showcases
over 600 robots on the sport utility line and allows you to see first hand the state of
the art automation used to put the quality GM vehicles on the road. The 60-minute tour
utilizes a tram system to take you where all the action is. Tours will be offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays at 9:15am and 10:45am.
Reservation are made at least 48 hours in advance. All reservations are to be made over the telephone at 608-756-7681
where you will leave your name and number and GM will call you back to schedule a tour. No cameras, video equipment, backpacks or purses will be allowed in the facility. These regulations are enforced for the safety of GM employees and no exceptions will be made.
