first stop of the day will be at Horicon Marsh Boat Tours, located
in Horicon…City on the Marsh! Nestled at the southern end of the Horicon
Marsh, where it narrows to become the Rock River, the city of Horicon
offers a friendly small town atmosphere to please any visitor.

Spring,
summer and fall the marsh is a hive of activity as all its inhabitants go
about their daily activities. We will explore the largest freshwater
cattail marsh in the U.S. with one of the oldest and best Marsh Tour

this former lumberyard is now a village unto itself, reminiscent of a
charming European streetscape. First we will experience lunch at one of
the area’s favorite restaurants - The Upper Crust! Everything is excellent - but you might want
to start with dessert! Next, we will have time to explore some of the
thriving specialty shops where we might see artists and artisans
demonstrating their traditional crafts and take home a treasure or two to
remember our tour!

an eight-sided architectural masterpiece, features 57 rooms of period furnishings. This five story home, built in 1854, was one of

Gardens is a 15-acre botanical garden showcasing a variety of

Reclaim
your youth as a horse drawn trolley takes us back in time to long ago. We
will explore one of the nation’s largest cut your own Christmas Tree
Farms and learn its’ history - it is quite a story. During October -
December, tours can see wreath-making demonstrations, taste some homemade
fudge, sample the chili or other great food at the café or take home a
special memory from their Christmas gift shop. Refreshments (included in

Wisconsin’s oldest working gristmills. Beckman Mill
was built in 1868 and restored to its 1920’s condition. Complete with
newly reconstructed dam, fish ladder, walking covered bridge, and flower
garden, Beckman Mill is truly a one of a kind treasure!

Taste of Heaven Café
No tour of Wisconsin or Roamin’ Round the Rock
