General Motors Truck Assembly
This three and half million square foot complex is the largest GM plant under one roof in the
U.S. This exciting tour showcases over 600 robots on the new Suburban/Tahoe line alone.
This is a rare opportunity to get a first-hand look at the automation used to put those quality
GM vehicles on the road. There is a fascinating story behind every new gleaming truck and

From I-90, exit 175A (Hwy. 11 Janesville). At first stop light, turn left onto Palmer Drive. Then turn left on to Beloit Ave. First
stop lights turn right on to E. Delavan Drive. Go down 1 and a half blocks. GM plant on the left. |
Tours will be offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays at 9:15am and 10:45am. Groups must have a reservation that is made at least 48 hours in advance.
All reservations are to be made over the telephone at 608-756-7681 where you will leave your name and number and GM will call you back to schedule a tour.
No cameras, video equipment, backpacks or purses will be allowed in the facility. Motor coaches must provide a roster of passengers and everyone may be required to show a photo ID. These regulations are enforced for the safety of GM employees an no exceptions will be made.
Please arrive at the plant at least 15 minutes prior to the tour start.
