Historic Homes Guided Tour
 Janesville is rich in history and architectural significance. Approximately 20 percent of Wisconsin's
buildings which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, can be found in Janesville's
10 Historic Districts. A guided tour of these beautiful and unique exteriors is available to your
group. Tours contain architectural styles such as Greek Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne,
Bungalow, Second Empire, American Foursquare, Colonial and Tudor Revival. A guide from the
Rock County Historical Society will board your bus and describe these styles, giving you a
fascinating history of the homes.
