2. Winter is better in Janesville.
We don’t hibernate in Janesville. When the temperatures drop, it’s time for the skis, sleds, and snowshoes to come out. Inside, there’s no shortage of fun with live performances returning to the Janesville Performing Arts Center, great eats across the city, beer tastings, and cozy lodging options to help you unwind.

3. The great outside never goes out of style.
With more than 60 improved parks and 30 miles of paved, off-road trails including the southern-most segment of Wisconsin’s Ice Age Trail, you can– and should– spend days exploring Wisconsin’s Great Outside. On foot, wheels, boat, skis, or whatever your favorite way to get around, our outside is one you can’t miss this year.
4. Janesville is Wisconsin’s newest food destination.
A string of new eateries combined with classic local favorites make Janesville a true food destination. Newcomers Sandwich Bar, Genisa Wine Bar, Jeff’s Kitchen, and The Sugar Exchange have made eating in Janesville a new experience.

5. Love is in the air.
Getting married in Janesville will be even better in 2022 with the addition of 10 South, a brand new, ultra chic wedding venue. 10 South joins a long list of beautiful venues that are the perfect backdrops for your greatest day.

Art Infusion will return, bringing with it even more public art, chalk art, and opportunities to connect with artists and creators from across the country. We can’t say much yet but trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
