Experience two distinct tours of the historic mansion at the Rock County Historical Society: the Traditional Tour and the Help Wanted Tour. The Traditional Tour focuses on the construction of the mansion, its interior, and the members and personalities of the Tallman family. Visitors also learn about the daily life of the Tallmans, who resided in the home from 1857 to 1915. The Help Wanted Tour demonstrates Victorian life through the eyes of a servant. In this interactive tour, guests are encouraged to don an apron and join in a variety of 19th century chores and activities. Help Wanted Tours are available by appointment only. Hours for Traditional Tours are: Wednesdays by appointment, with 24-hour advanced notice; Thursdays 3 - 7 PM, with the last tour beginning at 7 PM, Fridays and Saturdays 10 AM - 2 PM, with the last tour beginning at 2 PM, and Sundays from Noon - 4 PM, with the last tour beginning at 4 PM. Special pricing is available for groups of 10 or more.

Cost:  $10 adults, $9 seniors & college students, $6 children 6-17; free for children 5 & under, veterans,active military and members of RCHS or AMM, AAM, AASLH or WFM (Free Parking)
