Get out and explore the area’s scenic trails including a portion of the National Scenic Ice Age Trail. More than 30 miles of Janesville’s trails are paved making them ideal for biking or walking.

At Skelly’s Farm Market, you can pick your own pumpkins, eat fresh apple cider donuts, go for wagon ride, shoot an apple cannon or get lost in one of their amazing corn mazes. Fun for all ages!

Hawk’s Orchard, located on one of Wisconsin’s officially designated Rustic Roads, offers 14 varieties of locally-grown apples, including Zestar, Gingergold, Gala, Honeycrisp, Ruby McIntosh, Cortland, Golden Delicious and more throughout the Fall season. They also have local honey, and be sure to try their apple cider, caramel apples, fresh baked donuts and turnovers, and take & bake apple pies!

Check out a downtown Bird Scooter and take a fun self-guided public art tour. Download the brochure or use the Google map found here to explore 25+ incredible large-scale murals, many with plaques that include a QR code leading to a recorded description narrated by the artist. You can use the map to find Janesville’s more than 60 pieces of public including sculptures and memorials.

They offer a variety of red, white, sweet, dry, and fortified wines. Northleaf Winery is an urban family winery housed in an 1850 building with a long agricultural history. All wines are made on-site from grapes grown mostly in California, but also from such diverse places as Chile, New York State and Wisconsin. Each winery offers a variety of food and has live music on occasion.
