Adapted from Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale, young Nicholas and his mother Louise petition the Emperor for more money to rebuild their theatre after a fire, but the Emperor refuses. They devise a plan to appeal to the Emperor’s vanity and pretend to be weavers of exceptional cloth that will make him an extraordinary robe. Come see this clever, cunning duo create The Emperor’s New Clothes. Part of the UW-Whitewater Theatre/Dance Department's 2017 Children's Tour.
