Elizabeth Martiniak, Janesville historian, will tell how Janesville native Frances E. Willard (1839-1898) became an internationally-renowned leader in the temperance and suffrage movements, as well as an advocate for strong labor laws, anti-rape laws, and the expansion of women's rights worldwide. Ms. Martiniak is currently writing a biography on Frances Willard. Part of the Local Experts program series.
