In this hour-long session, you’ll sample various kombuchas and discover the basics of fermentation. You will also learn how to start your first batch and simple flavoring techniques. Learn about the essential equipment and ingredients you’ll need, get expert tips on caring for homebrew kombucha, and discover how to troubleshoot common issues. Perfect for beginners, this demo will leave you confident and ready to start your kombucha journey at home. SCOBYS, supplies, and starter kits will be available for purchase after the class. Presented by Katie Kuznacic. Known as The Booch Witch, Katie began making kombucha in her kitchen in 2017 and launched The Booch Witch in 2020 to share her love for the drink and its benefits. Her unique home-brewing process creates a light, effervescent, and naturally-sweet taste that can be customized to personal or seasonal preferences. The Booch Witch offers instructional classes, introducing a DIY self-care hobby that’s both fun and beneficial. Please register by May 27.
