Join the Rock County Historical Society and local historian Rich Fletcher for the 2017 Janesville Historic Walking Tours. Each tour is designed to showcase the unique personality and stories from Janesville's distinct neighborhoods and downtown. Enjoy a 60-minute guided tour, learning about the people, places and heritage of each neighborhood. Tours will be held in different neighborhoods on the second Saturday of each month from May through September.

Court House Hill: Janesville’s Victorian Crowning Glory
This tour explores Court House Hill, which has always been the prestige address for the upscale residents of Janesville.  You will see a range of Victorian homes built from the 1850s to the 1920s.  This is a neighborhood that takes pride in historic preservation and has a great sense of community. Meet in front of the Civil War Monument at the Courthouse.
