Calling all Ornery Mule Racing runners to the 3rd annual Arbor Ridge Trail Race, sponsored by the neighboring and picturesque Arbor Ridge community. This race follows Wisconsin's iconic Ice Age Trail through the secluded and serene Robert O. Cook Memorial Arboretum. This event is an important fundraiser for the stewards of the Ice Age Trail, with donations and a portion of race proceeds going to the Ice Age Trail Alliance. Race a 10, 5, or 3 mile route through heavily-shaded forest, over roots and rocks, around a flowering meadow, and along a meandering stream. The mostly single-track rout offers some challenging climbs and equally rewarding downhills with an exhilarating and refreshing creek crossing. There is also a free 1K fun run for the kids and a great post-race party planned with plenty of food, craft beers and music. Photos courtesy of Ornery Mule.
