In this time trial, 60 to 100 Para-athletes compete in the different categories/divisions, including two-wheel bicycle, tricycle, handcycle and tandem cyclist. The time trial event is one of the most challenging and exciting disciplines in the sport of cycling, and is an impressive display of speed, skill, and endurance. Competitors race against the clock in a timed event and will set off at one-minute intervals, with the fastest time determining the winner. Winners will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals. The race serves as a selection event for the 2023 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships, which will take place in August in Glasgow, Scotland.
