Art Infusion celebrates art in Wisconsin's Great Outside with guest artists, a sidewalk chalk art competition, art exhibits, workshops, guided tours, live performances, shopping, dining, and more. Come downtown, see the beautiful artwork, and chat with artists. Chalk artists of all skill levels, including adults and kids ages 10 and up, are invited to join the chalk drawing competition.

2026 Theme: America 250: Janesville's Rich Tapestry
Celebrate America's 250th anniversary by bringing Janesville's history to life through art that honors the people, places, landscapes, and wildlife that have shaped our community. Artists will draw inspiration from Janesville's Indigenous heritage, the Rock River, the city's agricultural and manufacturing legacy, and the history makers who built Janesville into the community it is today. Designs may also feature native Wisconsin wildlife such as sandhill cranes, bald eagles, white-tailed deer, alongside iconic historic landmarks including the Lincoln-Tallman House, downtown architecture, Monterey Rock, bridges, parks, and other significant sites. Artwork should tell a story of resilience, innovation and community pride - connecting Janesville's past with its future while celebrating the people, natural beauty, and defining moments that continue to shape our shared American story.

Since then they have been featured artists at several events and festivals, taught chalk art workshops, presented a lecture on ephemeral art in nature to UW Oshkosh’s Artscore, and taught thousands of students in the public school system.
