The Sterling North Museum is hosting an opening day celebration to kick off the 2026 season. A best-selling author, Thomas Sterling North wrote books for children and adults, including Rascal, an award-winning memoir set in the early 1900s about his pet raccoon. North's childhood home in Edgerton is now a state and national historic site. Tour the museum, be entered into a drawing (one entry per paid admission), and enjoy a pie and ice cream social. The museum is open on Sundays May - October from 1 PM - 4 PM.
