This free community Gallery Night featuring a self-guided walking tour of original artwork by local artists that has been on display in storefront windows throughout downtown Janesville for the past month as part of Downtown Janesville BID's Windows of Possibility exhibit. Each installation pairs the art with information about the space it occupies - spaces available for lease are presented with leasing details, and spaces with incoming tenants introduce the businesses preparing to open. The result is a self-guided, open-air gallery that turns open and underutilized storefronts into points of interest. During Gallery Night, you can meet the artists and visit downtown restaurants and bars with specialty offerings tied to the artwork and buildings. On online silent auction of the art begins August 8 and will conclude August 15 at 10 PM, with winners collecting their pieces as the artwork comes down. Many windows will continue to host the artwork through Art Infusion in early September. Featured artists include Valerie Saxer, Grace Bevec, Lilli Rick, Valerie Boebel, Jacinda Koehn, Abigail Grable and Ky McCombe.
