In the lower level of the library you'll find The Ground Floor, a coffee shop run by volunteers and operated by the Friends of Hedberg Public Library. The shop offers coffee, snacks and gift items for readers of all ages as well as used books and magazines received through public donations and library collection discards.
THE COFFEE SHOP IS CLOSED, BUT THE LIBRARY IS OPEN WITH RESTRICTIONS, AND MASK ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER. THEY ARE OFFERING CURBSIDE PICKUP OF LIBRARY MATERIALS - SEE THEIR WEBSITE BELOW FOR DETAILS. TELEPHONE AND ONLINE RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE. THEY PROVIDE ACCESS TO FREE EBOOKS, AUDIOBOOKS, MOVIES AND MORE THROUGH STREAMING SERVICES SUCH AS OVERDRIVE, HOOPLA, AND KANOPY. CLASSES, PROGRAMMING AND STORY TIME ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA SITES (CLICK EACH): HPL Facebook, Children's Facebook, YouTube AND Twitch.
