This brand new chicken fingers franchise is exploding across the country over the next couple of years, and Janesville is its first Wisconsin location. Originating in College Station, Texas in 1984, it built a cult following and expanded to locations throughout Texas, since adding a restaurant in West Virginia and in Pennsylvania. They are on track to have 50 locations by the end of 2025. Their menu is simple: Layne's Soon to be Famous™ Chicken Fingers, original or spicy, served with fries, Texas toast (either on the side or as a sandwich), and a choice of sauces. You can also choose a wrap or grilled cheese sandwich, and enjoy a shake with your meal.
