At 246 acres, Rockport Park is Janesville's largest park, with lots of activities for kids and teens. It includes the Peace Park Playground and Pavilion, so named for the 52 foot tall Peace Pole with the inscription "May Peace Prevail on the Earth" in several languages. Go swimming in Rockport Park's 50 meter outdoor pool with a diving well and wading pool (open early June to mid-August, cost for admission) or check out the concession stand, soccer field, historic farmstead (located in the far northwest corner of the park) and well-marked trails of varying degrees of difficulty used for hiking, biking and cross country skiing. The Rockport Pool 2024 season is June 8 through August 18. The pool will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 PM to 5 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Hours: The park is open from 5am to 11pm. Park restrooms and facilities are open from April 15 until October 15 of each year. Pool is open June 9 - August 19, 2018, Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 12:30 - 7 PM, Tuesday & Thursday 12:30 - 5 PM, and Saturday & Sunday, Noon - 7 PM.
