Peace Park is named for the 52-foot tall Peace Pole with the inscription May Peace Prevail on the Earth in several languages. The accessible playgrounds are some of the best in the city. Peace Park is located within Rockport Park and includes a pavilion that seats 75, with a large grill and restrooms that are open from April 15 until October 15. Hours: The park is open from 5 AM to 11 PM. Park restrooms and facilities are open from April 15 until October 15 of each year.
