Jeffris Park's biggest draw is the Dawson Softball Complex, a four diamond softball facility managed by Janesville's Recreation Division. In addition to the adult softball league play during summer, the fields are used for kickball leagues and may be rented out for other events. The remainder of Jeffris Park is mostly wooded, with a stream running through it leading to the Rock River, which borders one side. A portion of Janesville's trail system borders the south and west sides of the park, leading to a pedestrian bridge that crosses the Rock River.
