Lions Beach does NOT have a lifeguard on duty, and swimmers are required to stay within the designated swimming area. There is a new pavilion, volleyball area, sunshades, and a Beach Toy Box where you can borrow a toy while you're at the beach. Water quality is tested weekly. Lions Pond is also a popular fishing site, with a non-motorized boat launch located on the west side.
The Lions Beach 2024 season is May 25 through September 2, 11 AM to 6 PM daily.
