At 246 acres, Rockport Park is Janesville's largest park. It includes the Peace Park Playground and Pavilion, so named for the 52 foot tall Peace Pole with the inscription "May Peace Prevail on the Earth" in several languages. Check out the historic farmstead (located in the far northwest corner of the park) and well-marked trails of varying degrees of difficulty used for hiking, mountain biking and cross country skiing. Hours: The park is open from 5am to 11pm. Park restrooms and facilities are open from April 15 until October 15 of each year. Pool is open June 9 - August 19, 2018, Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 12:30 - 7 PM, Tuesday & Thursday 12:30 - 5 PM, and Saturday & Sunday, Noon - 7 PM.
