Located at the entrance to the underground parking at the Hedberg Public Library, the large sculpture created by artist O. V. Shaffer in 1968 is constructed of Cor-Ten steel. Shaffer's work is exhibited throughout the United States, and several sculptures are on display in Janesville. Each piece has a sign that describes the art and includes a QR code that can be scanned by your phone, which will take you to a video of O.V. Shaffer speaking about that piece.
