This two-sided Wisconsin Historical Society marker #262 is located on the Ice Age Trail in Blackhawk Golf Course, between the golf course parking lot and E Racine St. It makes note of the 1832 conflict between Sauk leader Black Hawk and 1,000 followers, and US Army troops.
