In this class, you'll learn ideal timing for sowing, how to choose the right soil and containers, and how to provide proper light and water for strong, healthy growth. The session also covers essential transplanting techniques so your seedlings thrive beyond their first stages.
Presenter Andrea Geske is the Assistant Horticulture Manager and Public Horticulturist at Rotary Botanical Gardens and owner of Geske's Gardens. Over the past decade, she has designed gardens and container planters throughout Wisconsin, including at the largest Hosta farm in the United States. She brings a passion for plant care, garden design, plant hybridization, and teaching to everything she does.
