Buzz into the fascinating world of honeybees! Busy Bees and Sweet Discoveries is a two-hour STEAM camp for kids ages 6 to 10 that takes a close-up look at one of nature's most important pollinators. Campers will observe live bees in a demonstration hive, discover the amazing life cycle of a honeybee, and learn how these hardworking insects help pollinate the plants we depend on every day. We'll explore the tools beekeepers use to care for their hives and sample a variety of delicious honey during a special tasting activity. Through hands-on activities, crafts, and the famous waggle dance, campers will discover how bees communicate and work together as a colony.
