The 2nd annual Arbor Ridge Trail Race follows Wisconsin's iconic Ice Age Trail through the secluded and serene Robert O. Cook Memorial Arboretum. Race a 5k, 8k or 16k route through heavily-shaded forest, over roots and rocks, around a flowering meadow, and along a meandering stream. The mostly single-track Arbor Ridge Trail offers some challenging climbs and rewarding downhills. The race is open to competitive and recreational runners of all ages, with a free 1K fun run for the kids. A portion of race proceeds will go to the Ice Age Trail Alliance. Don't miss the early packet pickup on Friday, 5 to 7 PM at Rock County Brewing Company in downtown Janesville, pre-race yoga at 7:30 AM by Breathe Yoga and Wellness Center and post-race party with live music by the Glacial Drifters Band at the Arboretum. Stop by Rock County Brewing Company Saturday at 1 PM for a post-party party with Q&A by featured runners Juan Moran and Annie Weiss.
