The Milton Historical Society and the Society for Anomalous Studies (SAS) host a walking tour that explores the paranormal events in four of Milton's historic buildings. Guests will hear results of extensive paranormal research done in all four buildings, along with the personal experiences of staff and owners of the buildings. The tour will begin in Goodrich Park with the focus on the Milton House Inn and the Ezra Goodrich House. The tour will then make the approximately .5 mile walk to the former campus of Milton College, where the paranormal activity of both Goodrich and Main Hall will be discussed. For the Main Hall discussion, the tour group will be taken inside where SAS will share audio and video of some of the paranormal experiences found within the building. Afterward, guests may participate in a questions and answer session at Sharla’s Coffee Stop located in Witten Hall, where beverages will be available for purchase.
Designed to be spooky but not frightening, the purpose of this tour is to educate guests on the history of these buildings that rarely make the history books. This walking portion of this tour will last approximately an hour and a half, and will require guests to stand and walk the entirety of that time. The majority of the tour will take place outside so we recommend dressing accordingly. Due to the duration of the tour and the nature of the content, it is recommended for ages 12 and older.
