Wisconsin’s native populations experienced profound cultural changes in the times leading up to, and after, contact with Europeans.  Professor Emeritus Roland Rodell will discuss pre-European history - gleaned from archaeological documentation of mounds and material remains - and the impact of French and British explorers-traders in the 17th and 18th centuries.
