Downtown Janesville will be filled with excitement for the Janesville Town Square Gran Prix, part of the Tour of America's Dairyland Series, presented by Blain's Farm and Fleet. Racers and spectators will enjoy a course that not only showcases Janesville's scenic location and interesting architecture, but also offers views of the beautiful Town Square with its fun interactive water feature sculpture The Bubbler and the lovely Blain Gilbertson Family Heritage Bridge featuring the Resilience sculpture. The Town Square areas offer various options for seating that provide scenic views of the river, downtown and the Gran Prix racecourse. You can watch the event around the entire perimeter of the course. To see the competitors pass slowly, watch from an incline. Like to see the bikes scream past? Set up on one of the downhills. There are a number of turns, which provides an exciting view of tight cornering, especially the tight corner at Water Street and Milwaukee Street. Spectators are welcome at this family friendly event, which will also have kids activities, live music and food trucks in Town Square.
