The quilts in this exhibit were created in response to the influx of families seeking asylum in the USA at the southern border, many of whom were greeted at the Casa Alitas Welcome Center in Tucson. The message of the quilts is one of hope and affirmation. The exhibit also features the artwork of children from these families. The exhibit is open November 10 - 17 on Sundays from noon to 3 PM and Tuesday through Thursday 2 -5 PM, or by appointment.
