Join the Diversity Action Team in the Blackhawk Room (#1315) at Blackhawk Technical College - Central Campus as they highlight concerns of our friends in the Latino Community. A panel of three speakers with expertise on a broad range of issues affecting Latino families in our community will speak on issues they see as the most urgent – and propose solutions on how all of us can contribute to a safe and harmonious community. 
Guest speakers are:
Christine Neumann-Ortiz, Executive Director of Voces de la Frontera, an organization focusing on immigration reform. 
Cinthia Tellez Silva, a DACAmented first generation graduate of Parker High School and the Academy for International Studies who is currently studying and UW Milwaukee and serves on the UWM Undocumented Task Force.
Juan Jose Lopez, Board of Directors Chairperson for UMOS (United Migrant Opportunity Services) and Section Chief of the Bureau of Job Service in the Division of Employment and Training of the Department of Workforce Development for the State of Wisconsin.

This is a Free event, open to the public, and will be in English and Spanish.
